We are proud to support New Worlds Reading, Florida’s free program that helps kids build their literacy skills and discover a love of reading.
New Worlds Reading is Florida’s free home literacy program that delivers books and reading activities to eligible VPK – 5th graders. Enrolled children receive 9 free books that they choose each school year through fifth grade, along with reading activities and resources families can use to help build kids’ reading skills. Your child may qualify to receive free books and reading activities each school year through fifth grade.
The program is administered by the UF Lastinger Center for Learning, who has selected Scholastic as a partner. Books are selected in collaboration with the Florida Department of Education.
